This is a call center ready to open in the Delijorgji palace complex, while this is us, together with our Italian colleagues from the Le Iene show, uncovering these fraudulent activities from corner to corner of Tirana.

Our joint action began in November last year, when a young Italian infiltrated one of the fraudulent groups operating in the middle of this luxury tower in the middle of Tirana.
Everything came to fruition with the closure of this call center and the arrest of eight people by SPAK. Something that excited us, especially after that first disappointing moment, when we were faced with the premises emptied of any equipment that could prove the veracity of what we had documented for two days in a row.
But things soon turned around and BKH agents managed to track down several members of the criminal group that was defrauding foreign citizens and arrest them while they were trying to destroy evidence in a room on the fifth floor of Down Town, another luxury tower, not far from the first tower. This would have happened a month ago, enough time to forget about things. At least in Albania.
On February 24, the Special Court of Appeals would change the security measures for 5 of the SPAK detainees, sending them to house arrest. But this news was nothing.
Because apparently the people wanted by SPAK, who were suspected of being the owners of the call center that was just seized. Now let's stop the conversation with this whistleblower of ours for a moment and go back to where we started.

Starting with the Delijorgji Complex, where, as far as we understand, the number of fraudulent call centers is very large. Our information is secure and, in addition to our human, is verified by people who have worked in these environments.
But even with this very reliable data, we are still faced with a surprise. Complete silence, no sign of life, only closed doors. However, we do not lose hope and try several other addresses, where until a few days ago there was intense work.
As we knock on the doors of the signaled call centers, one of our companions directs us to another environment where it was clear that a new call center was being prepared to open.
In reality, even though we waited endlessly, no one came.

Nga dështimi në dështim mbërrijmë tek një tjetër pikë e hartës, në kompleksin Halili, tek Rruga e Dibrës, atje ku mes njësive të kësaj qendre të vogël tregtare kanë vegjetuar prej vitesh tre call centera.
Aq sa të gjithë e dinë për ekzistencën dhe spostimet e tyre të vazhdueshme. Call centerat e hartës na bien një nga një, edhe pse informacioni ishte shpërndarë brenda një rrethi shumë të ngushtë personash.

Kjo është salla e madhe në të cilën deri pak ditë më parë punonin rreth 100 operatorë.
Në një pjesë të sallës janë lënë telajot motivuese që, me sa kemi kuptuar, gjenden në çdo call center mashtrues. Ndërsa këtu është ajo çfarë ka mbetur nga zyrat e drejtuesve. Edhe në këtë rast, asnjë rezultat.
Vetëm ambiente të boshatisura apo dyer të mbyllura që na kanë shoqëruar përgjatë gjithë ditës.
Në fakt policia jo vetëm që ka informacion, por gjithashtu ka në dorë prej dy javësh edhe denoncimin bashkë me hartën.
Por edhe ne nuk kemi qëndruar në shpresë të policisë dhe hartës që ia kemi dhënë në pjatë. Sepse disa dyshime i kishim. Prandaj gjatë këtyre ditëve kemi vënë në shënjestër një call center për të cilin na informoi një vajzë që kishte punuar për disa muaj atje.
Bëhet fjalë për këtë strukturë në Rrugën e Kavajës, shumë pranë kompleksit Delijorgji. Të dhënat duken tepër të sakta dhe të detajuara, prandaj së bashku me vajzën pozicionohemi përballë call centerit të sapohapur në adresën e re.
Atje ku rreth orës 9 vijnë njëri pas tjetrit operatorët dhe konsulentët e punësuar atje. Pasi pjesa më e madhe e punonjësve kanë hyrë për të nisur punën, njëri nga operatorët turq del nga struktura dhe rikthehet atje me një person të panjohur.
Këto pamje ishin xhiruar vetëm pesë ditë përpara ndërhyrjes tonë. Ndaj nuk na mbetet gjë tjetër, vetëm të thërrasim policinë. Pas këtyre premtimeve të inspektorit të policisë, gjithçka dukej se po shkonte në sinkron. Nga njëra anë ne, nga ana tjetër punonjësit e policisë.

For those who are seeing us for the first time to understand: the call center where SPAK intervened in the Green Tower 40 days ago has reopened, this time at Ring Center, in Zogu i Zi. Just imagine the economic power that these criminal gangs have.
The materials that were seized on the fifth floor of Down Town One, tables, chairs, computers, monitors, LED screens for about 500 operators, interior works, all amount to a value of over 1 million euros.

So, without wasting any time, the perpetrators have put the new structure into operation under the motto: a day without work, a day without bread. Right here, in one of the largest and most popular shopping centers in Tirana.
After we are assured that the illegal activity is ongoing, we go up to the fifth floor of the shopping center, together with our Italian colleagues.
The call center is armored in the most perfect way. Next to the always locked entrance, which can only be entered with a card, we have three untrained bodyguards in front, who clearly have no problem confronting anyone who approaches the fraudulent activity they are protecting.
In fact, we've been looking for the police for hours, without any results.
After months of documenting this activity, with facts, evidence, and hidden cameras, what can be said with certainty is that we are facing an alarming situation.
We are not talking about a fraudulent call center here and there, but about an infinity spread throughout the capital, which extort hundreds of millions of euros from the accounts of European citizens every month.
Everything under the nose of the police, who even when we served them ready to intervene, chose to avoid it, clinging to bureaucratic details that gave the fraudsters enough time to close the premises we discovered and move somewhere else.
