From Shkodra to Fier and Korça, believers in the districts celebrate Eid

Muslim believers across Albania headed to city mosques on Wednesday morning to pray for Eid al-Adha. As they remembered the sublime sacrifice of Hazrat Ibrahim, believers sent thanks to the Creator of the Universe through takbirs.

In Shkodra, before the prayer, where hundreds of believers had gathered, Mufti Muhamed Sytari, on this day of sacrifice and dedication to others, called on citizens to stay close to their families and the needy, describing emigration as a wound of our society.

Believers in Elbasan gathered to pray on Eid al-Adha in front of the Castle Square, and the sermon of the occasion was delivered by the Mufti of Elbasan Agim Duka.

In Fier, the believers prayed for Eid al-Adha in the city square, while the prayer was led by the Mufti of Fier, Mikel Hazizolli. The Mufti of Lushnja, Gramoz Blliku, led a prayer for peace.

Even in the city of Durrës, Muslim believers prayed the Eid al-Adha prayer at the Great Mosque, while believers exchanged wishes for health and prosperity in the family.

The Eid al-Adha prayer in Berat was held in the city's pedestrian zone and led by Mufti Bilbil Talla, who called on believers to show more solidarity.

Muslim believers in Korça headed to the historic “Iliaz Bey Mirahori” mosque to pray for Eid al-Adha. They prayed for each other’s health and for harmony in the family.

On this day of sacrifice, the Mufti of Gjirokastra Ermin Gjana, while leading the prayer, called on believers to share their meals with those who are less fortunate.

In Kavaja, hundreds of believers gathered in the city square to perform the Eid al-Adha prayer. The prayer was led by Imam Gentian Nela, and the believers wished each other better days.

In Puka, the Eid al-Adha prayer was held at the historic Kodër Hani mosque, and the ritual was led by Mufti Gëzim Kopani.

In Kukës, the imam conveyed wishes for peace, solidarity, and goodness for all believers, while prayers were held in the city's mosque.

In Saranda, the prayer was led by Mufti Bledar Mullaj, who wished the believers more love and kindness in their families.
After the prayer, the believers make a sacrifice and gather for a family lunch, and special attention is paid to people in need.
