A car hits a girl in the Old Beach area in Vlora

An accident was recorded this evening in the Old Beach area in Vlora, where a vehicle hit a cyclist.

According to preliminary data, the incident occurred at around 20:45 on 'Sazani' street, in the Old Beach area.

An 'Opel' vehicle with license plate AB 187 LH, driven by citizen KD, 45 years old, hit a 21-year-old pedestrian with the initials MC.

As a result of the collision, the young woman suffered injuries and was immediately transported to the Vlora Regional Hospital, where she is receiving medical attention.

Preliminary sources indicate that her life is out of danger.

Police have arrived at the scene and have escorted the driver of the vehicle for questioning, while work is underway to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
