Operation 'Tornado' in Italy/ Albanian drug money blocked, staggering wealth discovered

Italian authorities have recently carried out an operation in Brescia from which over 700,000 euros in cash have been seized. Also seized from this operation were real estate, company shares and bank accounts. It is learned that these assets belong to an Albanian who is suspected of having links to the criminal world.

Operation "Tornado" was finalized after analyzing and verifying international databases and numerous wiretaps and phone calls.

It is learned that during the investigation, the Guardia di Finanza managed to uncover suspicious transactions that had taken place in Italy and abroad. It is reported that the Albanian had a key role in the management and reinvestment of illegal income, acting as a money launderer.
