The Tirana Prosecutor's Office has proven that 5 officials of the capital's municipality have violated the law and caused damage to the local institution's budget regarding some fictitious jobs of several companies that have operated in Tirana. Taulant Tusha, who is currently in prison from Spak and at the time of his testimony, was the director of Public Works in the municipality, testified before the Tirana Prosecutor's Office.

Regarding the proceedings for the demolition of building no. 140 at the combine, former director Tusha responded to the fear that he had taken on the job and the task he had performed on the ground. Tualant Tusha: On 11.08.2021, a service contract was signed with the entity ARB&TRANS shpk and "KLAJGER KONTRUKSION shpk for the demolition and evacuation of construction waste for this facility as well. Asked if he was aware of the time of the demolition of building no. 140 located on "Haki Stermilli" street and if so, which entity was contracted for this purpose, he stated that the request for the conclusion of this demolition contract came to the Directorate that I direct on 05.05.2021 from the General Directorate of Buildings in Joint Ownership of Administrative Units and Civil Emergencies, Tirana Municipality.

After the competitive selection on 11.08.2021, a letter was sent to this same directorate to follow up on the supervision and undertaking contracts for the demolition and disposal of construction waste facility.
With the passage of this letter, the Public Works Directorate has completed the assigned task. I am not aware of the time when this facility was demolished, and it was not my duty to follow up on this process. I would like to emphasize a fact that to my knowledge, the facilities for which the service contract for demolition and disposal of construction waste was concluded were facilities for which, according to the in-depth expertise of the Construction Institute, they have been classified as uninhabitable facilities and with high risk for residents.

Referring to the contract concluded, the entity that was contracted for this purpose is obliged to carry out the demolition and evacuation of construction waste within the deadlines specified in the contract. Regarding building no. 140, I have nothing more to declare. He also stated that I am not able to give an accurate answer whether citizen Asqeri Xhanari has benefited from grants for the reconstruction of buildings damaged by the earthquake, since he is the other director in charge of reviewing the documentation for the damaged apartments.
