Korean vehicles take the largest share of the domestic market

The domestic vehicle market continues to expand and diversify. According to the latest data from the General Directorate of Road Transport Services (GDRTS), during the period January-November of this year, vehicles originating from a number of manufacturing countries were registered, including some of the largest economies in the automotive industry.
The Republic of Korea leads the way in registrations, with 21.4% of total vehicles registered. Italy and Germany rank with 15.4% and 15.6% respectively, proving that European manufacturers continue to hold a strong position in the market.
There is also a notable increase in the presence of vehicles originating from China, which accounts for 9.1% of registrations, while Switzerland is represented with 8.4%. The United States of America follows with 8%, maintaining a stable market share.
