Expected to serve prison sentence, 63-year-old dies in hospital in Durrës

A 63-year-old man lost his life this Friday afternoon at Durres Hospital.
According to the Police, the citizen with the initials, M. G, was being escorted to the security premises of the Durrës Police Commissariat, after he had been sentenced to 18 days in prison and was expected to be transferred to serve his sentence at the Lushnje Prison.
At around 15:04, he showed health concerns and was immediately transported by the Police services to Durres Hospital for medical assistance, where, despite the assistance provided by medical personnel, he died in the intensive care unit.
The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues its actions to fully clarify the circumstances.
