Horses shot with gun in Llogara, perpetrator identified, criminally prosecuted at large

Vlora police have identified the perpetrator, who yesterday shot a herd of horses with a shotgun in the Llogara National Park.
The person in question is citizen SM, 55 years old, resident of Orikum. He has been criminally prosecuted by the Police while at large, for the criminal offense of "Animal Cruelty".
According to the Police, initially two horses were reported injured, but after verification, only one horse was injured, while the animals are owned by citizen KK, 46 years old.
"Following the complete documentation of the case referred to the Prosecutor's Office, for the criminal offense of "Animal Abuse", where in the territory of the Llogara park, it was initially suspected that two horses belonging to citizen KK, 46 years old, had been damaged, but verifications showed that one of them had been damaged, which had been caused several injuries by a shotgun, the Crime Investigation specialists at the Orikum Police Station have made it possible to identify the suspected perpetrator and initiate criminal proceedings against him, specifically against citizen SM, 55 years old, resident of Orikum. As material evidence, a shotgun owned by citizen S. M was also seized for further examination," according to the police.
The procedural materials have been passed to the Vlora Prosecutor's Office for further action.
