Consecutive violations, Bankers issued fictitious invoices! 100% billed service

The investigative file of the Fier Prosecutor's Office for the concessionary company that exploits underground oil resources in Patos, Marinzë, Fier, lists a series of serious violations with major financial consequences to the detriment of the state.

The company, which has extracted and sold over $5 billion worth of crude oil, has not paid any taxes, and according to the prosecution, this was done by fictitiously increasing its invoices. While it has not paid taxes, Bankers Petroleum has received money as a VAT refund from the state.

The prosecution in its file lists the legal violations that have been identified with a decrease in VAT credit. The file states that in the supply of goods transport, it was found that the invoices issued for these supplies were not issued at the time of the service, therefore in violation of the requirements of the law.

The analytical verification of purchases results in the following: the purchase invoices do not present sufficient identification data for the purchased goods, or the elements that must be completed either on the invoice or in accompanying documents, on the basis of which the accuracy of the company's declarations can be verified.

These requirements are even more necessary in the case where purchases with three consecutive invoices were made within the same date for items of the same nature. The same violation also with the construction works performed, only the value of the day of readiness was invoiced and for this period, no service was performed by this company.

Under these conditions, the billing of the suspended days was not carried out in function of the activity for which the company was foreseen. For the above period, this company has billed 100% "Stand by" service, i.e. not performing any service in function of the activity.
