He saved the baby who was drowning in the river, confesses the Albanian MP in

Adnan Dibrani, the Albanian MP in Sweden, has been declared a hero in Montenegro, after saving a baby from drowning.

He confessed that he happened to be on the road at that moment, when the baby was on the water, while his grandmother had drowned.

Dibrani has shown the dramatic moments when he took the baby out of the water of the Moraça river.

" He was being kept above water. I don't know what I did, I don't know how, but the child was saved, when the water came out of the organs, then he opened his eyes. I quickly went to the ambulance, for us it seemed like a lifetime, it's minutes, when I saw that woman, one minute we saw what was happening, is there a baby or a doll. When he started making noise, I just wanted to give him oxygen, at that moment I didn't think anything. I have spoken with the government in Montenegro, with the head of the parliament, I have not yet communicated with the parents, they told me how things are. It's a boy, it's been two months, so far they're hoping that he didn't get injured ", said Dibrani for "Albania Live".

Dibrani was in Podgorica as part of the observation mission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe on the day of the presidential elections in Montenegro.

Adnan Dibrani who is from Mitrovica and migrated to Sweden in 1992. He is a member of the Swedish Parliament from among the Social Democrats.
