Scandal with power shortage, QSUT "speaks" after 4 days: Together with OSHEE we monitored the breakdown

Four days after the scandal at the QSUT and repeated requests for information on why this institution of particular importance was left without electricity, the hospital center's management has decided to react, but avoiding journalists' questions. The QSUT management has distributed a pre-prepared video where the Director of Maintenance Services talks about the breakdown and the problem that occurred in one of the generators that left the Central Resuscitation Service without electricity.
But the QSUT directorate does not provide any information as to why there is currently no company to maintain generators and other backup electricity equipment.
It also does not provide clarification on when the last readiness test of these devices was carried out to test their functioning in cases of breakdowns such as the one on January 19. The attempt to extinguish the scandal that the lack of power did not endanger the lives of the patients is refuted by the statements of the doctors themselves. Doctors, nurses, but also the patients' families know very well what they experienced on the evening of January 19 to urgently move intubated patients from the intensive care unit to another service.
The power outage, the generator malfunctioning, and the fear that the batteries or backups of the respiratory equipment would not last long, created moments of tension and panic among the medical staff and the patients' families. Despite this scandal at the QSUT, the good news was that there were no casualties.
