SPAK action inside "Klajdi Resort" in Golem, owner Orman Kokoshi's cell phone seized

The Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime, as part of a major operation in cooperation with EUROPOL, which targeted the criminal drug trafficking group led by Ervis Çela and Franc Gergely alias Franc Çopja, have conducted searches at the premises of "Klajdi Resort", located in Golem, Kavaja.

MCN TV reports that during the operation, BKH investigators also seized the mobile phone of the resort's owner, Orman Kokoshi, as part of the material evidence. 

The GJKKO, at the request of SPAK, issued a total of 16 arrest warrants after the operation in the cities of Elbasan, Lushnje, Durrës, and Tirana. Security measures have been implemented for 10 people, while 6 others are wanted.

SPAK, through an official announcement, revealed the cocaine trafficking scheme from Latin America to EU countries, as well as the transfer of money through several routes.

Also, 14 properties were seized, including "Ajman Park" in Shijak, which includes hotels, service buildings, restaurants and commercial premises. SPAK also seized a 2-story villa "ELYSIAN" on the Dhërmi coast during today's operation.

It has a total area of approximately 378.2 m² and a market value of approximately 1,000,000 Euros, which were seized by SPAK. Both of these assets, which are worth millions of euros or billions of Albanian lek, are owned by Fadil alias Julian Balla.

This citizen also turns out to be the president of the "Erzeni" football team and in many television appearances, has shown the large investments in sports and services. "Ajman Park" is one of the most luxurious resorts in the Shijak area and is thought to be worth billions of lek, because it includes thousands of m2 of surface area.

SPAK says that this criminal organization operated on a global scale, collaborating with other criminal groups to facilitate transport to European ports and investing the large profits in properties and businesses in Albania and abroad.

The investigations were based on the analysis of encrypted communication data of the SkyECC platform, where multi-ton shipments of cocaine from Latin America to major EU ports, including Hamburg, Antwerp, etc., were discovered.
