SPAK inspects "Klajdi Resort", owner Orman Kokoshi's phone is seized

New details have emerged from the SPAK operation, which targeted a criminal organization involved in international drug trafficking, led by Franc Gergely  alias  Franc Çopja  and  brothers Ervis  and  Ardian Çela.

In total, 14 arrest warrants were issued, while only 8 of them have been executed, while 6 others are still wanted.

Media sources indicate that within the framework of the investigations in question, BKH officers, by order of SPAK, have also carried out inspections at the premises of "Klajdi Resort" , located in Golem, Kavaja.

It is reported that during the operation, investigators also seized the mobile phone of the resort's owner, Orman Kokoshi , as part of the evidence being collected in the ongoing investigation.

As part of the investigations in the case, SPAK also seized "AJMAN PARK" Resort , located in Xhafzotaj, Durrës, owned by citizen  Fadil Balla alias Julian (Jul) Balla , who is suspected of being part of the criminal organization and is one of the wanted persons.

During international investigations, two large cocaine shipments were identified and intercepted, transported from South America to Europe. Specifically, a shipment of 11.6 tons and a shipment of 16.4 tons during 2020 and 2021.

This criminal group, according to SPAK, invested the money gained from the criminal activity of selling cocaine in properties and businesses in Albania. The drug money was transported "in cash" from EU countries to Albania, using mainly Albanian bus drivers for international passenger transport.
