New details have emerged regarding the death of former police officer Artjon Xhelo, who was found burned inside a car in Qafë e Llogarasë.
According to the Police, a preliminary examination of the vehicle and Xhelo's body revealed no signs of violence, while his last movements before the incident were also revealed.
According to statements from family members, this citizen left his apartment at around 11:00 in a BMW vehicle, without informing his destination, and never returned. From the verifications carried out, it results that the vehicle is owned by Artjon Xhelos himself.
It is suspected that the citizen had been suffering from anxiety and depression for about three years and, according to family members, was undergoing medical treatment.
His body has been sent to the morgue of the Vlora Regional Hospital, where the results of biological analyses (DNA) are awaited for final identification.
According to the Police, from the investigations conducted up to this stage, a suicide case is suspected, while investigative work continues to fully clarify the circumstances and dynamics of the event.
