VIDEO/ Residents of Rrjoll clash with private guards, throw them into the canal and chase them away with stones! Moments of tension

The citizens of Rrjoll have protested again this Saturday over their properties which have been given to the company "Gener 2" for the construction of a tourist resort.

Dozens of residents have broken the windows of excavators and cabins of the "Gener 2" company, and have clashed with guards from the private security company, which has been contracted to guard the construction site.

Residents pushed the private company's guards into the canal while the latter hit them with rubber batons, and chased them away by throwing stones at them.

"Down with the thieves, down with the thieves, down with the thieves, go away, go away," the protesters are heard chanting in chorus.

The residents of Rrjoll vow not to give up their property even though they clash with company employees and the police every day, and are escorted to the police station every day after clashes.
