The assassins had very accurate information about Dani's movements, and he may even have been betrayed by a close person who knew his itinerary. This was stated by journalist Klodiana Lala, who provided new details about the dynamics of the assassination, the suspected leads and the investigations so far.

"It is believed that the message and target was Emiljano Shullazi, but having no way to reach him, they are taking revenge on his close friend, Gilmando Dani. Dani may have been betrayed by people close to him."

On November 7, he traveled to Barcelona, ​​while the perpetrators had information about his every move. They had such accurate information that they waited at the roundabout quietly, waiting for him, knowing that he would pass there. They knew that Dani was sitting in the passenger seat, where the bullets were aimed. The perpetrators acted like paramilitaries, one aiming and the other protecting his flanks.

"They acted like commandos, helping him with the gun, waiting for him until the attack was over. Dani was betrayed by the people he met. Up to 80 bullets were fired. The assassins also took care not to leave any traces, collecting shell casings and bullets," the journalist said today on "News 24".

Regarding the clues to the incident, Lala said that there are several events under verification, but settling scores and revenge between groups remains the main motive.

"The crime tracks are linked since the murder of Vajdin Lame in 2005, clashes with criminal gangs over the years, both with Shullazi and Durim Bami. The main track is settling scores between criminal groups," she continued.
