The denunciations of the citizens who took Viola Sterjon to prison are clarified

Some citizens from Korça have stated that the former Director of the Environment, Viola Sterjo, had received significant sums of money in order to influence the AZHBR to grant funds in their favor.
On December 12, 2022, a citizen, who had a property in Voskopoja and wanted to build a hotel there, filed a report at the Korca prosecutor's office. Through an acquaintance, he met Viola Sterjon, an employee of ANA at the time, who had promised him that she would intervene in AZHBR to get a grand.
Initially, the whistleblower gave Sterjo 57 thousand euros and 1 million dollars. But this is not Sterjo's only trick. Another citizen from Pogradec has also filed a complaint that he gave her various amounts, such as 9 and 28 thousand euros, so that she intervened in the AZHBR to obtain a grant of 1.2 million euros for a hostel.
A third whistleblower claims that he gave Sterjo 160,000 euros after she promised him a grant of 2.2 million euros. After several months, the whistleblower, who did not receive the grant, asked Sterjo to return the amount of lek given to him.
But she continued the deception by telling him that the grant would increase from 2.2 million euros to 4.5 million euros.
