Sensational/ Russia claims to have a cancer vaccine ready: "Enteromix"

Russia has reportedly developed the first cancer vaccine, which has been administered to patients, and the results are very encouraging.

The treatment, which is being developed as an mRNA vaccine, is called “Enteromix.” The new Russian vaccine has successfully completed clinical trials, achieving 100% effectiveness and safety.

Specifically, according to international media, the treatment, which not only attacks and neutralizes cancer cells but also shrinks large tumors, is now awaiting final approval from the Russian Ministry of Health in order to be made available to patients.

Alexander Ginzburg, director of the National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology (NF Gamalei), in early August announced the start of the administration of the vaccine to certain patients, which was developed based on the personal genetic information of each patient and concerns specifically cancer patients.

Enteromix is based on innovative mRNA technology, similar to that used in COVID-19 vaccines. Its mechanism is to "train" the immune system to recognize and destroy cancer cells.

Unlike traditional methods, such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy, the vaccine is personalized for each patient, constituting a targeted and less severe treatment against cancer. It is important to note that no serious side effects were reported, and the patients tolerated the treatment without problems.

Ginzburg stated in early August that, according to the plan approved by the Russian Ministry of Health, the vaccine will be experimentally administered to a group of melanoma patients in collaboration with the Moscow Scientific Research Institute of Oncology “Hertsen” and the National Medical Research Center of Oncology “Blokhin”.

Alexander Ginzburg said that the Gamalei Center is exclusively engaged in the production of the vaccine, which is based on "neoantigens" designed specifically for each patient, foreign media report.

Previously, the development of a new therapeutic vaccine to treat serious forms of cancer was announced by the Russian Federal Clinical Scientific Center of Medical Radiology and Oncology in the city of Dimitrovgrad.

Ginzburg stressed that Russia seeks to offer this vaccine free of charge to Russian citizens and clinical trials to select the first participants began in December 2024. / The Economic Times
