The incident took place on the perimeter wall of a police building in the Uittenau district, in the northern area of ​​the German capital. "At around 8:20 p.m., a serious security incident occurred at the level of the fence", announced the police in X.

The police said that the 2 injured were part of a "routine security patrol", informs "La Repubblica".

"According to the initial investigations, an as-yet unidentified object exploded, causing serious injuries to the face and eyes of an officer - the same source explains - and one officer was a victim of acoustic trauma."

Both were treated at the hospital and are out of danger.
