Chaos at Istanbul airport/ Thousands of passengers stranded, including Albanians

A worrying situation is developing at Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, where thousands of passengers, including Albanians, have been stranded for hours after the massive cancellation of flights.
An Albanian citizen has contacted JOQ Albania, denouncing the chaos created at the airport. He says that he has been waiting for over 6 hours, while no one has given a clear answer about the situation.
"Chaos in Istanbul, no one is answering. All flights have been canceled, there are no empty hotels. We've been waiting for 6 hours. They're saying tomorrow night at 24:00 or Tuesday at 13:00. They're saying it's because of bad weather, but we don't know the truth. There are more than 20,000 passengers waiting here," he says.
According to international reports, the main cause of this chaos is related to the bad weather conditions that have hit Istanbul, significantly reducing visibility and forcing authorities to impose flight restrictions for two days.
Airlines such as Pegasus Airlines and AJet have canceled dozens of flights, while some planes have been forced to divert to other airports due to a lack of fuel during landing attempts.
Airport authorities have confirmed that the restrictions will continue until at least March 30, warning that further cancellations could occur if the weather does not improve.
Meanwhile, the situation is not isolated to Turkey. Similar problems with cancellations and delays have been reported at other international airports, affecting thousands of travelers in several countries.
For now, travelers remain awaiting new developments, while frustration and uncertainty grow by the hour at one of the region's busiest airports.
