"The US opened Pandora's box" - Russian Ambassador to the UN speaks about US attacks on Iran

Russia's ambassador to the UN has condemned US airstrikes on Iran as "irresponsible, dangerous and provocative".
During his speech at the UN meeting being held in New York, Vasily Nebenzya said that America has "opened Pandora's box" and that no one knows what new disasters the latest developments will bring.
"The US is clearly not interested in diplomacy," he added, Sky News reports.
The United Nations Security Council is meeting in an emergency session today to discuss the escalation of tensions between Israel and Iran, as well as the US military intervention against Iranian nuclear facilities.
During the meeting, Israel's ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, warned that if Iran continues to attack Israeli citizens, then it will face "unstoppable and just force."
Danon also stated that he hopes for a better future for the Iranian people, emphasizing that:
"We pray for change for the Iranian people, but this change must come from within Iran itself, not from Israel."
Regarding the American attacks on strategic facilities in Iran, the Israeli ambassador stressed that "it is still too early to make a full assessment of the consequences," leaving open any further developments in the region.
The UN meeting comes at a time of growing concern about the spread of conflict and the destabilization of the Middle East region following direct US military intervention in the Iranian nuclear program.
