Three people die after being swept away by waves in a natural lake in Tenerife

A tragedy occurred today in Tenerife, Spain, where three people drowned after being swept away by powerful waves in a natural lake in the Los Gigantes area.

A fourth person was saved after being given first aid with cardiac massage (KCPR), while three others suffered minor injuries. This was announced by sources from local hospital authorities. According to the same sources, the number of victims could increase to four.

The Canary Islands government has maintained a state of alert for dangerous coastal phenomena for days, due to difficult sea conditions.
