Ukraine to produce combat drones in Germany

Ukraine is producing combat drones in Germany in significant quantities, Ukrainian drone manufacturing company Frontline Robotics and German defense company Quantum Systems said today.
Ukraine and Germany are forging partnerships for Ukraine to produce combat drones in Germany, combining Ukrainian battlefield technology with German industry, partly funded by Germany, to create a new model of defense co-production, meeting the huge demand for these essential weapons.
This initiative involves strategic investments, aims to boost Ukraine's defense industry and expand the production of long-range drones, powered by artificial intelligence.
"Production is being carried out on behalf of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense," the companies announced at the German-Ukrainian Economic Forum in Berlin today.
Matthias Lehna, head of the joint venture company Quantum Frontline Industries, spoke of producing tens of thousands of drones per year.
The cooperation is being developed as part of the Ukrainian government's "Build with Ukraine" initiative.
Kiev is trying to move some of Ukraine's weapons production to safe European locations - to avoid disruptions caused by Russian attacks.
