Zelensky against Trump's idea: Ukraine will not hand over land to occupiers

President Volodymyr Zelensky declared that Ukraine cannot violate its Constitution on territorial issues, stressing that "Ukrainians will not hand over their land to the invaders."
Commenting on US President Donald Trump's decision to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska on August 15, Zelensky said that Ukraine is ready for concrete solutions that can bring peace.
However, he warned that any solution that does not include Kiev "would be a solution against peace."
Recall that Donald Trump signaled the day before that Ukraine may have to surrender some territory to end the war.
"We're talking about territories that have been fought over for three and a half years, a lot of Russians have died. A lot of Ukrainians have died. It's very complicated. We're going to get something back, something will be exchanged," Trump said.
