BoA: Around 105 billion lek were deposited through ATMs during 2025

Network expansion and service automation are reducing traffic at physical branches and improving public access to banking services.
The value of deposits made through ATMs during 2025 reached around 105 billion lekë, marking an increase of around 110% compared to the previous year.
According to data from the Bank of Albania, during 2025, approximately 2.2 million cash deposits were made through automatic devices, with an increase of 109% compared to 2024.
At the end of 2025, the number of ATMs offering the cash deposit function reached 430, or 9% more than the previous year. These account for over 39% of the total active ATMs in the country.
Experts estimate that the increase in ATM deposits is part of the digital transformation of the banking sector, enabling faster and more efficient services for citizens and businesses.
