Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti says that the recognition of independence by the state of Kenya is news that everyone rejoices. In a post on social media, Kurti says that this is a historic decision and paves the way for the establishment of diplomatic relations between our two countries.
"With willingness and readiness for close cooperation and partnership in this first chapter of relations with Kenya, which we hope will be long-lasting, fruitful and productive," writes Albin Kurti.
The recognition of the Republic of Kosovo by the state of Kenya makes us all happy and is very good news for the Republic.
I thank the country's president, Vjosa Osmani, and former president Behgjet Pacolli for their role, along with all those who contributed to this achievement.
