OpenAI denounces Elon Musk

Artificial intelligence company OpenAI has denounced billionaire and Trump's right-hand man, Elon Musk.

According to  The Guardian, the reason for filing the complaint against Musk is due to "harassment" towards the artificial intelligence company.

OpenAi's complaint states that Musk has attempted to damage the company's image through posts on social media.

"Through attacks in the press, malicious campaigns published to Musk's more than 200 million followers on his platform, a pretextual demand for corporate data, harassing legal claims, a false offer for OpenAI's assets, Musk has tried every means available to harm OpenAI,"  OpenAI's complaint against Musk reads, The Guardian reports.

OpenAI has demanded from the competent authorities that Musk stop any attacks on the company, and take responsibility for the damage caused so far.

A court hearing between the two parties is expected to be held in the spring of 2026.

Musk co-founded OpenAI in 2015, but had disagreements with Sam Altman, the tech company's CEO. In 2018, Musk left OpenAI and started a company called Xai.

The American billionaire has accused OpenAi of abandoning its primary mission, that of charity, and turning it into a profitable subsidiary for investors, like Microsoft.

A month ago, OpenAi raised $40 billion in funding from SoftBank and other investors. The tech company said it plans to use the money for scientific research that will further push the boundaries of AI research.
