The head of the LVV branch in Skenderaj accuses the mayor: I was attacked by his gang, they took my phone

The head of the Vetëvendosje Movement branch in Skënderaj, Hysni Mehani, said that he was attacked by the mayor of this municipality, Sami Lushtaku, a member of the Democratic Party of Kosovo.
"Dear friends, I was attacked by Sami Lushtaku and his gang. They took my personal phone."
"I ask the police to protect my family and I urge family members to exercise restraint," Mehani announced via social media.
Police have not yet provided details about the case.
Mehani was recently appointed to the position of Deputy Minister of Finance.
Meanwhile, LVV posted:
Today, in the “Solo” cafeteria in the center of Skenderaj, the Deputy Minister of Finance, candidate for MP and Chairman of the LVV Center in Skenderaj, Hysni Mehani, was brutally attacked by the Mayor of Skenderaj Municipality, Sami Lushtaku, and his bodyguards. This physical attack occurred at the time when Mr. Mehani was drinking coffee with MP Arjeta Fejza and LVV activists.
Initially, Hysni Mehani was punched, and then hit in the head with a glass. After the attempt of the Secretary of the Center, Bahri Zabeli to prevent the escalation, he was violently attacked by Sami Lushtaku's companions, also suffering severe blows. Hysni Mehani is currently receiving medical treatment.
This thuggish physical attack clearly shows that these people have no place in the leadership of central and local public institutions. We ask the competent authorities to handle the case urgently and take the necessary legal action against those responsible.
We also demand that the Democratic Party of Kosovo condemn this act.
The VETËVENDOSJE! Movement strongly condemns this physical attack, but at the same time it shows all of them that they cannot scare or intimidate any activist of the VETËVENDOSJE! Movement.
