A serious incident occurred the day before in Pristina, where parents are suspected of raping and mistreating their 5-year-old son.
The minor was taken yesterday to the pediatric clinic in Pristina, while the parents were detained by the police and sentenced to one month in detention.
It is suspected that the parents systematically abused their minor son, and it is suspected that they also cut off his toes.
Pediatrics has also reacted to the case, announcing that he is in intensive care and has undergone surgery.
" The Pediatrics Clinic informs you that the 5-year-old patient, currently hospitalized in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, today underwent the necessary surgical intervention at the level of the feet by the specialist teams of Orthopedics and Plastic Surgery.
The intervention has just been completed and was carried out according to medical indications. During the surgical procedure, the patient's condition was stable.
After the intervention was completed, the patient was transferred to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, where he is continuing treatment, supervision, and further postoperative care.
Due to the sensitivity of the case, this is the information that can currently be provided. For any further updates regarding the patient's condition, the media and the public will be notified only through the Information Office at SHSKUK.

"The preliminary procedure judge, after hearing the parties to the procedure and after analyzing the case files, found that the request of the Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina for the determination of the measure of detention is well-founded, therefore, I approve the request of the PTHP for the determination of the measure of detention against the defendants AK and VP, so that the same has been determined to be detained for a period of 1 (one) month, for each of them ," the announcement states.
