Dash Shehi explodes against Democrats: There are no protests week after week

Dashamir Shehi commented today on the events organized by the Democratic Party, stating that the protests are being held to extend Berisha's longevity in politics, adding that the latter is certain of victory in the May 23 race.

In an interview given to Report. Tv, Shehi stated that the number of protesters has also been decreasing, emphasizing that those who are behind Berisha are only a few PD militants.

"Protests only serve personal leadership. Protests are not doing anything to Edi Rama. People are tired. I have not seen in Europe that people go out to protest every week. They go out when there is a reason, a big event, this cannot be done week after week. The reality is that the numbers on the boulevard are decreasing," said Shehi.

Regarding the open race to elect the new leader of the Democratic Party, Shehi emphasized that Berisha has a certain victory, adding that anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool.

Shehi also underlined that the only hope for a different DP lies in some new MPs within this political force who have expressed opposing positions to Berisha.

"Whoever thinks that a president other than Berisha will be elected is a fool. There will be none, and no one will emerge," the head of the LZHK added.
