British Foreign Secretary David Lammy visits Kosovo, focus on strengthening ties between the two states

British Foreign Secretary David Lammy has begun an official visit to Kosovo as part of a tour of the Western Balkans. The visit aims to strengthen cooperation in the fight against irregular immigration and serious organized crime.
During the visit, Lammy was received in Pristina by the acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti and the ministers of the Government of Kosovo.
They discussed security issues, the geopolitical situation and regional challenges. Kurti stressed the need for justice regarding the terrorist attack in Banjska for which Milan Radoićić, an important figure from Serbia, is accused.
A meeting with Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani is scheduled for Wednesday morning. Kosovo's Ministry of Foreign Affairs praised Lammy's visit as a sign of commitment to strengthening ties between the two countries and advancing peace and stability in the region.
Lammy's visit is part of a wider diplomatic campaign by the United Kingdom to increase cooperation with Balkan states, including signing new agreements to combat irregular immigration and border security.
