Kosovo did not go beyond a 1-1 draw against Austria, in the match valid for the Nations League.
The Dardanians were very close to an important victory, but the goal conceded in the 85th minute denied them three points against one of the main opponents in the group.
After a goalless first half, Kosovo managed to break the deadlock in the 70th minute.
It was Fisnik Asllani who sent the ball into the net, after an assist from Edon Zhegrova, sparking hopes for a victory in this match.
However, when everything seemed to be going in the home team's favor, Austria reacted in the final minutes.
In the 85th minute, Christoph Lang scored the equalizer, sealing the final score at 1-1 and denying Kosovo the chance to take the three points.
This result leaves Kosovo currently in second place in the group with 5 points, while Austria leads with 8 points.
