Edi Rama's writhing in his internal conflict!

Throughout his political life, Prime Minister Rama has been behaving like a person in a deep internal conflict. He constantly chooses a problematic defense mechanism for everything, which is blame shifting. Prime Minister Rama once created an external culprit.

He tries to explain away the crisis by claiming that it was caused by external enemies, conspiracies, or forces intent on destabilizing him. Another time, responsibility is distributed. It is shared among many people so that no one feels directly responsible. Another time, roles are reversed. The person who must give an account is presented as the victim while those who demand accountability are presented as the guilty. Another time, the opponent is delegitimized, humiliated, belittled, and insulted as crazy, evil, mentally ill, sold out, or bought.

Blame shifting is undoubtedly a sign of a great internal conflict that arises in the individual who seeks to have the image of a brilliant, strong, righteous, extraordinary, talented, capable, liked man, etc. Meanwhile, his actions or what he is and does contradict this image. Then he enters into a deep internal conflict and shifts the blame.

The way Prime Minister Rama is responding to the student revolt by saying that the protest has an anti-Semitic, anti-fascist or Islamic background, a term coined by European colonialism almost two centuries ago, constitutes a serious shift of blame. Rama saying that the revolters need a psychologist because they are not students, because they come from the suburbs and that they are being used by crime or because they know nothing, also constitutes a serious shift of blame.

This is a revolt of students and youth. It does not arise from nothing and has nothing to do with anti-Semitism or anti-Greekism. It does not involve Islam or Christianity at all. It has nothing to do with the suburbs or the centers and it has nothing to do with people without education or people who need a psychologist. All of this is happening in the head of the prime minister because of his internal conflict and because he is and does the complete opposite of what he claims.

He is a terrible government official who has destroyed the perspective and has criminalized or allowed every cell of the police, government, parliament and state offices to be criminalized. He has built a perverse mechanism of corruption and protects it at all costs.

The revolt is the result of a long accumulation and humiliation and contempt that the Albanian government has inflicted on society through its way of governing. It is a reaction to an unbearable political and social situation that has been caused to a large extent by the government itself.

Only the correct reading of this revolt can lead to a solution that is purely political and only passes through the withdrawal of the government and the prime minister, their departure, and the opening of the way for a new government.
