The 23-year-old arrested for crimes and drugs, grandson of the SP deputy in Berat, Bardhyl Kollçaku

23-year-old Jurgen Kollçaku was arrested as part of the "Surveillance" operation. He was arrested today in Kuçovo for selling narcotics.

The Berat Local Police Department announced today the finalization of the coded police operation "Surveillance" as well as the arrest of 4 citizens: Jurgen Kollçaku, 23, Gjergji Braha, 26, Kleo Doko, 18, and Sherif Isaj. 19-year-old, the first three residents of Kučovo.

According to official police sources, the 4 young men were part of a structured criminal group that dealt with the sale of the narcotic substance "cannabis sativa" in different areas of the cities of Berat and Kuçovo.

For their arrest, the DVP Berat needed a 2-month investigation with proactive methods, to document and attack criminal activities in the field of narcotics, after information provided by police intelligence.

Police sources confirm that, during the control of the apartments and vehicles owned by these citizens, cold weapons and military ammunition were also found and seized, while investigations are continuing with the aim of identifying and arresting other citizens who may be implicated in this criminal activity.

Among the 4 young people arrested as part of this structured criminal group is the grandson of General Bardhyl Kollçaku, at the same time deputy of Berat district. 23-year-old Jurgen Kollçaku is the son of citizen Fadil Kollçaku, who turns out to be the son of the uncle of General Bardhyl Kollçaku.
