Have you ever thought about escaping during the communist era like Kadare?/

Party Chairman Sali Berisha has spoken of his determination during the creation of the Democratic Party and his unwavering stance in the face of the dangers of the communist regime.

During the conversation on 'Çim Peka LIVE' on SYRI TV, Berisha revealed that, unlike some other intellectuals, he never considered escaping, not even when he was abroad, because his passion and dedication to his profession kept him focused.

Berisha describes the first moments of the student movement, the importance of returning to support the students, and the conscious decision not to retreat in the face of threats, thus preserving the integrity and objectives of the newly created party.

Excerpt from the conversation of the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha:

Berat Buzhala: Have you ever thought about escaping like Mr. Kadare?

Sali Berisha: Never. No. Never. Neither, nor have I thought about it, nor did I think about it in any way. And my problem was that even when I went abroad, I didn't feel free. But I never thought about escaping. I had that out of the question. Yes, absolutely. I was very passionate about my profession. Even with the date, I have something very special there, very special evidence.

The party was founded on the 11th at dinner, on the 12th they gathered for the minimum program and the program for the statute, for some elements and I called a rally at 3 or 5 o'clock. You have my speech there, where they say now, goodbye, I will be a good friend of the Democratic Party. Because I was going back to the hospital, I had a 23-year investment with the greatest passion for my profession, with the greatest love for that profession.

And now Besnik Mustafa and Kujtim Çashku, the three of us said to each other, now let's go to our work because we don't have any kind. Why did I come back to, even to close it? I came back during dinner, I thought a lot. I thought, I said now, and first of all Kosovo was my life. And now with this movement I could help Kosovo. Second, I was cold-blooded. I had made a decision and to tell the truth...

They were young, but not as young as me. Yes. And I wasn't provoked. I didn't know, because I had calmly made a decision that was the most important decision of my life and it didn't bother me and I said to myself that I would help these people. Students. And now I'm leaving them at a time when anything could happen to them. And I did very well. To close it, did the State Security intervene? As much as it wanted! As much as it wanted, who's stopping it? In an open movement, it's absurd to think that, that they don't intervene. They intervene. But did they, could they manipulate the Democratic Party? Of course, it damaged it to certain extent but it maintained its position and achieved its goals.

Happening now...
