In the Tirana district, the counting of preferential votes for each candidate has begun. Thus, among the Socialist Party, out of 120 ballot boxes counted, Blendi Gonxhja leads with 5,333 votes.
Former minister Fatmir Xhafaj is ranked second with 2,123 votes, while Ornaldo Rakipi is third with 1,366.
As can be seen from the ranking published by the CEC, so far Rakipi has also surpassed veteran SP MP Erion Braçe, who ranks fourth with 1,256 votes.
However, the results may vary, as there are still many boxes to count.
