Easter ceasefire proves short-lived, Ukraine and Russia accuse each other of

Ukraine and Russia accused each other of violating the Easter ceasefire, established at the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin and with the agreement of Ukrainian President Volodymyyr Zelensky.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Army announced on social media that as of 7 a.m. today, 2,299 violations of the ceasefire agreement had been recorded, the largest number of which were related to drone attacks.

According to the Ukrainian military statement, there were no attacks with guided missiles and aerial bombs.

The Russian Ministry of Defense made similar claims.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, more than 1,900 violations of the ceasefire agreement were recorded from Saturday afternoon to this morning, the Tass agency reported.

According to the agreement between Kiev and Moscow, the Easter ceasefire should last 32 hours – from Saturday at 4:00 p.m. Moscow time until the end of the week, the Kremlin announced.
