Prime Ministerial Candidate Peter Magyar Aims to Defeat Viktor Orban: There Will Be Regime Change in Hungary Today

Tisza Party leader and prime ministerial candidate Peter Magyar has declared that a "major political change" is approaching in Hungary, speaking of a historic moment during Sunday's election process.
"Today there will be a regime change in Hungary, the Hungarian people will write history," said Peter Magyar.
After voting at a center in Budapest, he told reporters that the parliamentary elections could mark a turning point for the country, adding that the high turnout shows the importance voters are giving to this process.
According to him, the country is facing a major political and strategic choice, related to the future orientation of Hungary and the way public institutions function.
He called on the authorities to guarantee a fair and transparent electoral process.
The leader of the Tisza Party emphasized that, 'if the elections are held fairly, his political force believes that it will emerge victorious and take responsibility for governing the country.'
He also underlined the importance of strengthening Hungary's relations with the European Union and NATO, as well as the return of European funds to the country, emphasizing the need for closer cooperation with Central European states.
