"We did not clash with the Guard"/ Rama reacts after the BKH

Prime Minister Edi Rama has posted on "X" a reaction after the statements of the National Bureau of Investigation, that there was no clash between investigators and the Prime Minister's Guard.

The head of government's reaction came only about 30 minutes after the BKH's response, which stated that there was no clash between investigators and the Prime Minister's Guard.

Prime Minister Edi Rama, in the podcast "Flasim", recounted an episode that, according to him, happened at the Prime Minister's office where three BKH investigators refused to hand over their weapons according to the regulation, which was rejected by BKH.

In the post on "X", Rama writes that this was the "sweetest" case that has occurred, as there are many episodes where "the brave men of the BKH often display worrying ethical and professional gaps - saying this very sweetly about this part of the problem of old diseases in the new justice organizations."

Rama continued with the fact that serious and inter-institutional reflection is needed, adding, "We can never allow the cure to become a bigger problem than the disease, endangering the freedoms and rights and the breathing space of the country's administration and economy."

The BKH has also publicly responded to one of a series of episodes of lack of professional ethics by members of that body, which I mentioned today on the FLASIM podcast, talking about the disturbing symptoms of old diseases in the new justice organizations!

They cited the law, according to which they can carry guns, when in fact I did not criticize them for carrying weapons without a permit, but for the ethical and legal ignorance that led them to want to enter the prime minister's office with guns, as they themselves say in their statement.

If this were an isolated case, I would undoubtedly not have mentioned it in today's stance on the aforementioned symptoms, but unfortunately this was the sweetest of the episodes I could find, for the brave men of the BKH who often display worrying ethical and professional gaps - to put it very sweetly about this part of the problem of old diseases in the new justice systems.

However, I repeat, the time has come for serious, professional and inter-institutional reflection, to separate the newborn baby from the dirty waters, in a historical process where we must guarantee the success of the Justice Reform, while necessarily guaranteeing the independence of the judiciary, but where, likewise, we can never allow the cure to become a bigger problem than the disease, endangering the freedoms and rights and the breathing space of the country's administration and economy.
