Opposition in front of the Prime Minister's Office today, Berisha at a conference: Parliament will be held in the square, we want a technical government

Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha, during his daily press conference with journalists, announced that today the opposition inaugurates "the beginning of the parliamentary rostrum in front of the Prime Minister's Office."

The only request, according to Berisha, is the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, in order to continue with a caretaker government.

"Today, the opposition people inaugurate the beginning of the parliamentary-citizen parliament rostrum in front of the prime minister's building with the firm and sole demand, the resignation of Edi Rama and Lubi Balluku as the first step towards a technical government and free and fair elections. This protest is called in the conditions when the opposition did everything for a free and fair electoral process. But the government did everything to transform the electoral process into an ugly electoral farce. Thus proving to Albanians and the world that there is no hope for a change of power through free vote as long as Edi Rama is prime minister. The beginning or opening of the curtain of the uninterrupted season of protests could have been earlier, but this beginning was dictated by a complex of circumstances, " said Berisha.

Describing the elections as a farce, Berisha said that the opposition is not even allowed to speak in the Assembly, therefore "parliament will be held in the square."

"The truth is that today every Albanian who wants, who has the ideal of a free vote and will pray for a free vote, has in their hands irrefutable national and international documents that prove that Edi Rama is conducting a farce and not an election. So, the opposition succeeded with dedication and determination to protect the vote of Albanians in the legal sense. In the national and international legal sense. Its return is in the hands of Albanian citizens, their reaction, their struggle, their battle for the return of the free vote. The DP will do everything in this difficult battle. It will face tooth for tooth with the government of crime, drugs. It will make every effort to return the free vote to Albania. The opposition was not allowed in the square, the parliament will be held in the square "- said Berisha.
