The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has commented on the recent developments in the DP, where a day earlier there were heated debates in the leadership between Ervin Salianj and Flamur Noka.
In response to a commentator who told him that "you need to calm down," Berisha said that there are those democrats who are ashamed of their actions, emphasizing that after the elections they were employed in the administration.
The leading democrat also stated that "there are also those democrats who flirt with the government for the contracts they have", emphasizing that "the DP does not accept any other contract, except the one with Albanian citizens".
"I assure you that the meeting was extremely important and positive. There is no division, I guarantee you. After the DP elections, there were democrats who ate their bodies with bread and ran and got jobs in the crime administration. There were others who decided not to deal with politics anymore, but to pursue their lives. There were others who flirted with the government for the contracts they have. I want to tell you that this party has and will have only one goal, the ideal of freedom, the return of the free vote. This party will not stand for anyone's contracts. Our contract is with the citizens, for democracy, the family and Albania. So you should not have any concerns. Those who choose to become noisy in favor of Edi Rama, deceiving, manipulating elements who have openly worked against the SP and the SP deputies. There have even been candidates in the Tirana municipality against the DP candidates, they are fake, they have nothing in common with our ideals. This is the time of missionaries," he said. Berisha.
DP leader Sali Berisha said that the opposition's battle will begin on December 22, a battle that will only end with the overthrow of the government. He also added that it will continue until the formation of a caretaker government.
