Rama told protesters "f*ck you", socialist MP criticizes citizens:

While Prime Minister Edi Rama did not hesitate to address the protesters with the insult 'fuck you', Socialist MP Evis Kushi advises citizens to be careful and avoid hate speech. In a public message, Kushi said that she respects the right of every citizen to protest and express dissatisfaction, but stressed that this should not be accompanied by personal attacks or offensive language.

" During these days, we are all witnesses to an extraordinary hate speech on social networks and public space. I respect the right of every citizen to protest and express their dissatisfaction. Protest is a democratic right and the voice of citizens must be heard. But dissatisfaction cannot justify hate speech, insults, curses and personal attacks. Democracy is strengthened by argument and respect, not by division ," she wrote.

The socialist MP added that it is important to convey to the younger generations the message that respect, dialogue and citizenship have more value than insults or aggressiveness in debate.
Commenting on the protests, Kushi said that, in addition to the citizens who are taking to the streets, there are many others in Albania and the diaspora who support the country's path to European integration. According to her, challenges are not solved through division, but through cooperation, institutional stability and the continuation of reforms.

" Albania needs stability, functioning institutions, continuity in the reforms initiated and dialogue between the parties whenever uncertainties or dissatisfaction arise. Albania wins not when divisions deepen, but when we are together and love each other," concluded Kushi. Rama, in an interview with the Financial Times, addressed the protesters with the phrase "fuck you", a statement that has sparked numerous reactions.
