Former candidate for MP, Ilir Alimehmeti, has stated that the movement organized by Ervin Salianji, of which he himself is a part, is not an anti-mayor movement.
Alimehmeti made the comments in the studio of the show 'ÇdoKënd' with journalist Merita Haklaj on A2 CNN, where he said that the goal of this movement is to seek organization of the DP.
He also said that in the current situation it seemed as if the DP had become sleepy and needed to reorganize and best represent the voters.
"We need to understand something important. Here we are not talking about a political discussion, about political leadership or about different political opinions. So it is not a movement of this type. It is a movement that requires organization.
So we are addressing the need, so we need to reorganize, we need to re-represent ourselves. Because the way we are, we are not doing our best.
"Then in this aspect we need a better organization. Because it seemed like the situation was dormant and this is not going to work. This is the fourth mandate that Rama is governing and we are not allowed to do this. It is not even an anti-mayor movement, because they wanted to shift the attention here," Alimehmeti said, among other things.
