Saliani raises his voice: I did prison, others got permits, tenders and made

Former Democratic Party MP Ervin Salianji has raised the bar in another round, from Korca, harshly attacking the current leadership of the DP and emphasizing that he personally has paid heavy costs in confronting Edi Rama's government.

Salianji stated that, unlike many other political figures, he ended up in prison as a result of his battle with the government, while others, according to him, have benefited from permits, tenders, and wealth.

"I have borne the costs from this government. When I built the prison, many others got permits, won tenders and made money," said Salianji.

He stressed that it is unfair to consider him and the Democrats as a problem for the Democratic Party, who, according to him, have defeated Edi Rama in a direct confrontation, while other leaders have been continuously defeated in elections since 2013. "How can it be said that it is a problem for the DP, you and I, who have defeated Edi Rama and not those who are crushed by Edi Rama in every election since 2013?" he said.

Ervin Salianji: I have borne the costs of this government. When I was in prison, many others received permits, received tenders and made money. How can it be said that it is a problem for the DP, you and I who defeated Edi Rama and not those who are crushed by Edi Rama in every election since 2013. I think that the DP still has the strength within itself to make a change, to unite every democrat who is dissatisfied and to move towards openness. Your presence today excites me because it shows that there are still Albanians who have not given up, that there are democrats who do not give up and do not accept this humiliation.
