The head of the DP branch for the city of Durres is elected

Adrian Gashi was elected chairman of the DP branch in Durrës with a majority of the membership votes.

At the end of the vote counting process for the mayor of Durrës PD, candidate Adrian Gashi was declared the winner with 586 votes.

The other candidate, Erion Luka, received 268 votes. The Durrës branch of the Democratic Party of Albania (DP) entered into snap elections after the resignation, a few weeks ago, of the previous mayor, urban planner Ardian Muka.

Today, the Democrats were called to vote, a process that began at 08:00 this Saturday at the headquarters of the DP branch in Durrës.

Gashi has resigned from his position as a judicial police officer in Durres and is a lecturer at the University of Durres.
