"5 people in a room and a kitchen", Bieta Sulo tells about her

Young Albanians rank second in the Western Balkans to suffer from the phenomenon of living in overcrowded homes. Statistics recently published by Eurostat show that almost 70% of young people between the ages of 15 and 29 do not have a room of their own in the houses where they live.

This percentage, much higher than the average of the European Union at 26%, was the topic of discussion this afternoon in the studio of "Invitation to 5", with Bieta Sulo.

The guests (Gaz Ujkashi, Jetona Koçibelli, Xhoi Jakaj and Albi Lushi) brought to attention their childhood time, when, due to the conditions, they had to live in a small house together with family members, but also with their grandparents not infrequently.

Even Bieta Sulo, the moderator of the program, said that in her childhood, she lived together with her family in a small house, one room and a kitchen.

"I am a child of the 85s and I remember that the fifth of us lived in a kitchen room. We slept on the sofa, with our grandmother, in the kitchen because we were the fifth...", said Bieta, referring to the living conditions of the 80s and 90s. Unfortunately, this situation appears to have changed little or not at all. Many young people, according to the latest Eurostat data, still suffer from a lack of privacy and personal space.
