George Clooney sets limits on roles, will no longer kiss other actresses in films

In all the films of the 'Ocean's' saga, George Clooney and Julia Roberts have not shared even a simple kiss. Or in 'Out of Sight', with Jennifer Lopez, or 'Intolerable Cruelty', with Catherine Zeta-Jones.
Well, from 2026 onwards, in all projects in which the actor participates, he will add a clause to avoid kissing anyone.
This is what he admitted in an interview with the Daily Mail, in which he assures that the decision was made and agreed upon with his partner, Amal Clooney.
"I've tried to follow in Paul Newman's footsteps. I'm not going to kiss any more girls," said the 'Ocean's' actor. He hasn't given his reasons, but it could be a sign of respect for his marriage.
At least, that was the excuse Paul Newman made in the 1970s when he made it clear that he would only kiss his wife, actress Joanne Woodward, on screen. However, it's worth remembering that since George Clooney became a father, his film participation rate has dropped significantly.
It's been eight years since the actor became a father with Amal for the first time, with twins Ella and Alexander. Since then, he's only appeared in 'The Midnight Sky,' 'Ticket to Paradise,' and a small role in 'The Flash' as Batman. Just a few months ago, he announced in Variety that it was time to make way for a younger generation.
"Look, I'm 63. I'm not trying to compete with 25-year-old leads. That's not my job. I'm not going to do romantic movies anymore," he made it clear at the time. A word he seems to have kept, even more so after announcing that he would no longer kiss anyone on screen.
