Madonna performs a free concert in Brazil, faces an unexpected "surprise".

More than a million people flocked to Brazil's Copacabana Beach for Madonna's free concert, braving the heat, just to see the end of her Celebration world tour.
The sand and oceanfront boulevard around Rio de Janeiro's famous beach were packed Saturday night, with local authorities estimating the crowd at up to 1.6 million people. Many had stayed there for hours or even days just to get a good spot, while the wealthiest fans dropped anchor on dozens of boats and yachts near the beach. Also, the apartments by the sea were full.
Firefighters sprayed water on the space before the concert, as the temperature exceeded 30 degrees Celsius, to cool the gathered fans and drinking water was distributed for free. The temperature was around 27 degrees Celsius during the concert, late at night.
Madonna, 65, took to the stage for more than two hours, performing songs including Like a Prayer, Vogue and Express Yourself as she wrapped up the tour which began late last year. "Rio, here we are, in the most beautiful place in the world, with the ocean, the mountains, Jesus," Madonna told the crowd, referring to the huge statue of Christ the Redeemer that towers over the city. More than 3,000 police officers were deployed around the concert area, where the Rolling Stones and Rod Stewart have also drawn crowds of millions.
