Lisa Marie Presley, the American singer-songwriter and only child of Elvis Presley, passed away last night at the age of 54 due to cardiac arrest, but despite having a privileged life, she faced numerous tragedies in her life that at a young age. She spent her life mourning her loved ones and searching for love.
Lisa Marie faced her first major tragedy at age 9 when she saw the lifeless body of her father, Elvis Presley, on that fateful night of August 16, 1977. She found his then-girlfriend Ginger Alden trying to wake up his father, but the King of Rock and Roll was already dead. Elvis was lying next to the toilet, face down on the floor, and Lisa immediately called his ex-girlfriend Linda Thompson on the phone.
" My father is dead! He drowned," she shouted.
Lisa was not lucky in love either – she had four marriages and they all ended in divorce. The public was certainly more intrigued by her love for Michael Jackson, whom she met as a 7-year-old girl in 1975, but they began an intimate relationship years later - in 1992. The couple married in 1994, just 20 days after Lisa Marie divorced her first husband, Danny Kee, with whom she had two children – son Benjamin and daughter Riley.
Jackson and Presley's marriage lasted only two years and was fraught with major problems, primarily accusations that the singer abused children.

This was her longest marriage and lasted for a decade, but it ended in 2016.
