The world music star Madonna gave an interview recently to "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon", where she revealed how an incident on stage ended her career.
The 63-year-old music icon said the moment happened at the 1984 MTV Awards, where she performed her hit song "Like A Virgin", The Independent reported on Thursday.
"I walked down these very steep steps of a wedding cake, and I got to the bottom, and I started jumping around, and my white stiletto shoes fell off," Madonna recalled the occasion in an appearance on " The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon ".

"And I was trying to make this move look choreographed but my dress came up and my butt came out. Can you imagine it? Gone were the days when you didn't have to show your behind to have a career. Now it's the opposite" , Madonna confessed.
"But when I went backstage, my manager told me that my career was over ," continued Madonna.

After launching her career in 1981, Madonna became a sensation in a male-dominated industry. She continues to be recognized as the best-selling female artist of all time, with over 300 million records sold worldwide.
